A nice, quiet playground. Plenty of parking. Many different play activities. Monkey bars. Full swing set. Wood chip base. Large athletic fields. Basketball court. Pleasant picnic grove. Very small freshwater beach area.

Buzzards Bay Park Playground - Main Street - Buzzards Bay

Just a short distance from the Bourne Bridge, right on the Canal, this is great place to stop on the way to or from the Cape. Large splash pad with multiple sprayers. Creative playground with natural materials, climbing rocks, climbing ropes and slopes. Swing. Net climbing and net hammock. Play house and slides.  Exercise area for adults. Gorgeous view of the Cape Cod Canal and Railroad Bridge, always with something to see with Canal boating traffic. Picnic area with gazebo, very large parking area, always a cool breeze.

Wings Grove Long Pond Playground - Indian Memorial Drive - South Yarmouth - Cape Cod

Just a mile south of Exit 75, a great place to stop on the way home.  This is a quiet, small playground in a pleasant pine grove with views of Long Pond. Wood chip base, well maintained. Full size and toddler swings, slide, and climbing areas. Basketball court. Small freshwater swimming area. Picnic table at end of parking lot. Bench for parents near playground.

Wiley Park Playground - Herring Brook Road - Eastham - Cape Cod

Nice play area right at the Wiley Park Great Pond swimming area. Several picnic areas, swimming dock. Play area is for children 12 and under. Wood chip base. Large swing set, many activities. Climbing ropes, several slides, balance beam. Spacious playground area. Ample parking, but fee is charged in season. Walking trail and several educational signs about the Wiley conservation area and kettle pond.

Field of Dreams Playground - Route 6 / Eastham Town Hall - Eastham - Cape Cod

This new playground was built with funding from the Eastham Community Preservation Act. The play area has a nautical theme with slide and many rope climbing, merry-go round, and swinging climbing activities. Xylophone play area. Boat play area. Wood chip base with cement border and asphalt walkway. Softball and baseball fields and soccer fields. New lighted basketball and pickleball courts. Shaded picnic table. 

Parking is just behind the Eastham Town Hall, right off Route 6.
