Quiet area.  Well-maintained, modern play area with woodchips base.  Nice swing set.  Climbing ropes.  Seesaw.  Play areas for toddlers and for older children.  Walking path around the playing fields, several picnic tables.  Beautiful location.

Veterans Park Playground - Ocean Street - Hyannis - Cape Cod

A wonderful new playground with natural beach sand base.  Swing sets, climbing towers of several designs.  Water views of Hyannis Harbor.  Picnic grove seating for parents.  Kennedy Memorial and Veteran's Beach are steps away.  Perfect for the evening.

Luke's Love Playground - Route 149 - West Barnstable - Cape Cod

A Boundless Playground with activities for children of all abilities; universal access pathways and surfaces.  Modern equipment.  Rubber mat surfacing with some wood chips.  Two areas, one for ages 2-5 and one for children up to 12.  Swings, climbing walls, several slides, music area, many different activities. Garden area and good picnic seating.  Softball/baseball/kickball field.  A great preemptive stop before heading onto Route 6!

Barnstable Community School Playground - Bearse's Way - Hyannis - Cape Cod

Convenient location near the Cape Cod Mall and near Main Street in Hyannis.  New play area with wood chip base.  Many different activities.  Great climbing areas, play ship, shaded area for parents.  Excellent parking.  Gates to play area may be locked at times.

West Barnstable Elementary School - Route 6A - West Barnstable - Cape Cod

Quiet play area is to the left and behind the school.  Convenient access on Route 6a in West Barnstable.  Large playing fields, new tennis and pickleball courts. Modern playground, numerous activities.  Fenced in play area with a combination of rubberized and wood chips base. Several slides, towers, swings, climbing areas. Large sand play area. Glider. Walking path. Small seating for parents . Definitely a playground to see, easy to miss!
