Quashnet Elementary School Playgrounds - Old Barnstable Road - Mashpee - Cape Cod

Located off Great Neck Road near Mashpee Commons. Quiet location. Two large playgrounds, one to the left of the school and one way behind. Left playground is a new playground, with large climbing areas, large swingset. Large fitness circuit. Woodchip base. Many playing fields, basketball, tennis courts. Large shaded picnic area.

The second very modern playground shown below is behind the school and includes Netplex playstructure with net climbers, bridges, parallel bars, climbing walls, overhead events, spinners and a large playstructure with several slides. Lots and lots to do. Shaded picnic tables for parents. Colorful structures. Rubber surface.

Centerville Elementary School Playground - Centerville - Cape Cod

Quiet area.  Well-maintained, modern play area with woodchips base.  Nice swing set.  Climbing ropes.  Seesaw.  Play areas for toddlers and for older children.  Walking path around the playing fields, several picnic tables.  Beautiful location.

Quiet location with long walking path on school access road.  Modern playground with many activities.  Climbing rock.  Large swingset.  Playing field. Rubber square surface.

Sandwich Marina Play Area - Sandwich - Cape Cod

Fantastic location with cool breezes and incredible views of the Sandwich Marina and the Cape Cod Canal.  Small play area with nice wood chip base. Modern, well-kept playground. Swings and picnic area with water view. Great learning spot near Canal Electric Plant, Cape Cod Canal, Canal Bike Paths and Walking Path (use caution with children near the rocks - stay on the path!), Canal Visitor Center (opposite side of marina), Canal Radar.

A great stop before heading over the Sagamore bridge, just 1 mile north of Route 6 from Exit 59.  Large swingset, large playing fields with picnic tables.  Special play area for toddlers.  Many different climbing areas, slides, and activities.  Rubber square surface and woodchips.

Oak Ridge Elementary School - Quaker Meetinghouse Road - Sandwich - Cape Cod

Great stop before leaving the Cape, just a mile south of Route 6 at Exit 61. Quiet area with nice walking path on entry roads. Modern equipment. Small climbing wall, many other climbing activities. Many different areas. Balance beam. Rubber tile base. GagaBalls pit. Picnic tables, in sun.
