A great stop before heading over the Sagamore bridge, just 1 mile north of Route 6 from Exit 59.  Large swingset, large playing fields with picnic tables.  Special play area for toddlers.  Many different climbing areas, slides, and activities.  Rubber square surface and woodchips.

Oak Ridge Elementary School - Quaker Meetinghouse Road - Sandwich - Cape Cod

Great stop before leaving the Cape, just a mile south of Route 6 at Exit 61. Quiet area with nice walking path on entry roads. Modern equipment. Small climbing wall, many other climbing activities. Many different areas. Balance beam. Rubber tile base. GagaBalls pit. Picnic tables, in sun.

Harwich Elementary School - School Street - Harwich - Cape Cod

Nice, all new playground. Many different activities. Rubber, woodchip and sand surfaces. Playhouse. Smaller separate play areas for younger children. Nice shady bench. Picnic area. Basketball court and playing fields.

Orleans Elementary School - Eldredge Park Way - Orleans - Cape Cod

A fantastic playground.  Park past the school on the left, the playground is behind the school.  This is a new, modern playground with many features, including climbing areas, area for tots 2-5 as well as area for older children.  Music area is a special treat. Wood chips.  Large swings.  Soccer fields, baseball diamonds, tennis courts, basketball courts.  Climbing area.   Shaded table and bench for parents.   Plenty of parking.   

Chelsea Earnest Memorial Playground - Bradford Street - Provincetown - Cape Cod

A nice playground right in Provincetown.  Parking is difficult, but play area is pleasant with bench and picnic tables for parents.  Beach sand surface.  Several different play areas for different ages. Swings, slides, rope climbing.

Veterans Park Playground - Ocean Street - Hyannis - Cape Cod

A wonderful new playground with natural beach sand base.  Swing sets, climbing towers of several designs.  Water views of Hyannis Harbor.  Picnic grove seating for parents.  Kennedy Memorial and Veteran's Beach are steps away.  Perfect for the evening.

Luke's Love Playground - Route 149 - West Barnstable - Cape Cod

A Boundless Playground with activities for children of all abilities; universal access pathways and surfaces.  Modern equipment.  Rubber mat surfacing with some wood chips.  Two areas, one for ages 2-5 and one for children up to 12.  Swings, climbing walls, several slides, music area, many different activities. Garden area and good picnic seating.  Softball/baseball/kickball field.  A great preemptive stop before heading onto Route 6!
